Architect Anna Noguera has sympathetically transformed this beautiful 16th century building into a modern house where old and new blend seamlessly together. The ambience is utterly unique and the choice of materials, including stone, steel and concrete, contributes to a feeling of tranquillity, purity, light and space. Anna has designed the home with husband, Joan, and children in mind, and their regular visits afford the property a genuine heart and a soul!
Alemanys5 has been divided into two separate apartments that can optionally be rented together. Al Badiu is located on the top floor and is the largest of the two apartments, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a modern kitchen, spacious living room and a large covered terrace,airconditioning, complete with BBQ / open fire. The view over the Plaça de Sant Domènec with its historic buildings, including the University, is simply breath-taking. El Jardi is found on the 1st floor and boasts 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a delightful living room with patio doors to the pretty garden and swimming pool

Alemanys5 is located in a quiet location in the historic heart of Girona. Girona is a lively city with a historic center, a Jewish quarter, a Gothic cathedral and Arabic baths. The city is a lot less known than, say, Barcelona and still has an authentic atmosphere.
In summer are the inhabitants in the stately Parc de la Devesa and in the evening on the terraces of the Old Town, and Placa de la Indepencia full.
Girona loves to show its culinary offerings and that is not so crazy. The city is full of cozy eateries and also has some quality restaurants. In many places you can sit on the terrace, such as the Plaza de la Independencia or under the stately bell tower of Sant Feliu. Girona also has many nice authentic shops to explore. Some good bakery shops are within walking distance.
Not only Girona itself is worth to visit, but the city is also a great base for exploring the countryside, to other towns and villages and the coast. Pretty coastal villages and coves are approximately 30-40 minutes drive.

Reservations are considered valid after receipt of a down payment of 40% of the total rental costs. This should be paid within two days after receiving the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before the day of arrival. If your booking is done within 6 weeks before arrival, you are required to pay the full amount immediately. In case of cancellation more than 6 weeks before arrival there will be no refund. In case of cancellation within the period of 6 weeks will not be refunded. We therefore recommend cancellation insurance. before arrival. We therefore strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance.
You pay upon arrival to the caretaker Montse an amount of 300 euro in cash or by credit card for the deposit. On the day of departure you will receive this amount, if no damage, back again.

This beautiful 16th century building has been lovingly transformed over the years by renowned architect, Anna Noguera, into a fantastic home consisting of two separate apartments – El Jardi, the garden apartment on the 1st floor, and El Badiu, with covered terrace on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Apartment El Jardí is located on the 1st floor and boasts an interior space of 90m2, plus an additional 95m2 of garden.
