Set in a historically significant Puglia location in the Gravine National Park steeped in history and tradition, this ancient masseria has been owned by a hospitable family for generations. The structure of the house is typical of Puglia, with beautifully preserved period features. Fresh, contemporary design is beautifully combined with classic architecture in a simple, timeless style.
There are three bedrooms (two double rooms and one single room) and two bathrooms, a living room that can also serve as a bedroom (a sofa bed for 2 p), a kitchen and dining area. In the house you have WiFi & air conditioning, care products in the bathrooms, essentials for the kitchen, laundry facilities and there are also bicycles available for guests. The owners can organize a cook at home, a fun cooking workshop, grocery service and yoga classes for you.
Casina Trovanza is surrounded by organic olive and citrus groves, there is a seasonal vegetable garden and a beautiful outdoor kitchen with wood burning ovens. The large sunny courtyard, the extensive gardens, the small but nice swimming pool invite to outdoor living. Due to its elevated position you have a beautiful view of the countryside and the Ionian Sea in the distance.

At reservation a deposit of 30% of the booking amount is requested. The remainder must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of your stay. In case of a booking within the period of 6 weeks, the total amount must be paid immediately. In case of cancellation more than 6 weeks before the start of your stay, 50% of the deposit will be returned. In case of a cancellation within the period of 6 weeks, no refund will be made. We therefore recommend a cancellation insurance.
The owners ask a deposit of 300 euros to be paid at check-in.

Located between the Ionian and Adriatic coasts, a thirty minute drive south of the port city of Taranto and ten minutes from the ancient city of Massafra, dominated by the 15th century castle. A mix of rich, layered cultures from over two thousand years of invasion, conquest and settlement, the area contains some of the most interesting cultural sites in southern Italy. The charming and unique UNESCO Trulli residences in the Valle d'Itria and the medieval "White City" Ostuni and Monopoli are a 45 minute drive away, with the beautiful Baroque city of Lecce 90 minutes south.
