Clair de Lune is located on an exceptional domain called Rêve in the heart of the Aveyron in southwest France. Rêve is the dream project of the Dutchmen Joeri and Febe who decided in 2017 to transform a dilapidated hamlet into a special holiday residence with luxury homes and charming rooms that were themselves restored with sustainable and (where possible) original materials.
Clair de Lune - suitable for 2-4 people - is the first property that is ready, and the result can be there! In a bold mix of design and authenticity, the old style of the house is complemented by contemporary luxury and together form a unique décor. You will also be completely spoiled with your own hot tub and sauna. A small oasis where you come to enjoy the peace and the beautiful surroundings.
In the morning one big indulgence at breakfast, then plenty of options to fill your day. A walk in unspoilt nature or a bike ride through typical French villages. Discover the Roquefort region and the Gaillac wine region; here you will find countless hidden places where time has stood still. On the domain itself you can enjoy a quiet afternoon in the sun on the private beach on the river Dourdou where you can swim. If you are hungry, lunch and a drink can be served here. In the evening, choose from a BBQ by the fire or a three-course menu with local, fresh ingredients, while enjoying the silence and the beautiful natural décor.
All accommodations in our unique collection meet our high standards in quality, comfort, style and setting. We visit every place, meet the owners and explore the area, so we are sure that you will have a great holiday here!

Claire de Lune is located on a beautiful domain (Rêve) in Saint Izaire in the "Grand Causses" regional park in the department of Aveyron (southwest France). The Aveyron is known for its unspoilt and wild nature, pure air and delicious local produce. What you cannot miss in the area? Visit the town of Albi (an hour's drive), a pleasant and cultural city where the Toulouse-Lautrec museum (mainly dedicated to the work of the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec who was born in the area) is a draw, just like the cathedral . Wander through the narrow alleys, relax on a terrace with a drink and enjoy the cooking skills of young chefs in one of the local restaurants. Take a day trip to Toulouse (140 km) or drive to Montpellier (165 km) for a wonderful day at the beach.
Explore the Gaillac wine region? Gaillac is known for its young, fruity wines. Because most wineries are small-scale and the area is not as touristy, there is still a casual atmosphere. Put on your hiking boots and follow one of the many walks that start from your front door. Rent a kayak, bring your picnic basket and row down the Tarn valley. Here you will feel at one with nature. Prepare yourself for a little rapids here and there and the grand finale at the end. Discover beautiful castles and typical villages and markets among the hills. During your stay, the owners are happy to give tips on what to do in the area and are happy to help you plan your day trips.
Airports in the area are Toulouse and Montpellier, both a 2-hour drive away. Airport transfers are available upon request.
