The small town of Benissa is only ten minutes away. Benissa is a small, characteristic Spanish village that celebrates many local festivals and traditions throughout the whole year. As the town is not a tourist attraction, it has remained unpretentious and truly Spanish. Take a drink at one of the cozy terraces and admire the beauty of its cathedral. Don’t miss the Saturday morning market; it's the perfect place for buying good olives and their grilled chicken!
The Costa Blanca has a balmy Mediterranean microclimate, with hot and dry summers, but also throughout the rest of the year, it is very pleasant to stay here. Visitors can expect more than three hundred days of sunshine per annum and mild temperatures. In April, May, and October, for example, temperatures still reach 20-25°C. People often say that this region is fortunate with three months of summer plus nine months of spring.
