The hospitable owners have only one aim: to ensure that guests feel thoroughly at home. Flattered to be in Porto is a unique concept comprising five modern designer apartmentswhich are recently redesigned in collaboration with a high-end furniture brand. The apartments are located in a historic building in the heart of the authentic Foz do Douro quarter. Situated directly on the coast, just outside the historic centre of Porto, this former fisherman’s quarter boasts a number of famous restaurants, small shops (still run by traditional, local families), cafes, beautiful seafront terraces and even a small supermarket, all within walking distance. The property’s interior was designed by architect, Jose Carlos Cruz. The owners also teamed up with young Portuguese artists to give each apartment its own individual style, with vintage furniture, modern details and rich fabrics. Large windows provide plenty of natural light and some apartments boast stunning sea views.
The holiday apartments (2-5 persons) all benefit from a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi internet, air conditioning, heating and toys for the children. In the morning a basket crammed with fresh rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, milk, fresh orange juice, yogurt, jam and a fresh pastry are delivered to your door. What a service! The beach is just a few steps from the complex, and Porto city centre is within easy reach by public transport.
All accommodations in our unique collection meet our high standards in quality, comfort, style and setting. We visit every place, meet the owners and explore the area, so we are sure that you will have a great holiday here!

Fattered. to be in Porto apartments are located at the heart of Foz do Douro. Rua Senhora da Luz is one of the main commercial streets of the neighbourhood. Here you will nd one of the most genuine places in town with some of the most famous restaurants just a few meters away. You will also nd plenty of little neighbourhood shops, still run by old traditional families, cafes, beautiful terraces by the sea and even a small supermarket. All of this in walking distance.
In a happy and unlikely balance between tradition and modernity Porto presents itself with an unusual diversity. e contrast between the old medieval town, the traditional popular markets, the old Art deco cafes, the City Park, the beaches of Foz do Douro and the visual sharpness of buildings like Koolhaas’s Casa da Música and Álvaro Siza’s Museum of Contemporary Art at Serralves Foundation. All these elements combined with the proverbial hospitality of its people contribute to a state of harmony between the City, the Douro river and the Atlantic Ocean. The city has a perfect dimension for visitors. It is not di cult to walk around the Old town and the entire area of “Baixa” (Downtown). For those more adventurous and in better physical shape you can always walk your way along the riverfront from D. Luiz bridge to Foz do Douro.
