The owners came to Le Marche after an intensive search and found this antique water mill with foundations from the year 1000. Jeannette and Rene were instantly in love with the arched corridors with old frescoes, the caves under the mill and the space and the originality of the estate. In the immediate vicinity you will find an adventurous forest, hills, a (swimming) stream with crystal clear water, lagoons and waterfalls.
The owners have put heart and soul into the restoration of the watermill and its caves, together with local people and friends. The robust and sturdy base is combined with modern materials and light designer furniture. In addition to your own accommodation, large apartments for rent have been realized: Costa Conero on the first floor and Le Grotte di Frasassi on the second floor. Because the walls of the mill are 1 meter thick, it stays nice and cool even on the hottest days.
Outside you will find a swimming pool, four lounge terraces, a nice place to eat outside and a large BBQ. For the children there is a trampoline, cable car and badminton facilities. The beaches of the Adriatic coast can be reached in 35 minutes.
All accommodations in our unique collection meet our high standards in quality, comfort, style and setting. We visit every place, meet the owners and explore the area, so we are sure that you will have a great holiday here!
