Hidden in the beautiful landscape of Alentejo, lies the holiday home Monte Pardieiro do Meio. This authentic Portuguese house was designed and furnished by Miguel M. Pinto, a painter and collector whose family has been making olive oil and wine in Portugal for years. Miguel was inspired for the design by the special and versatile Alentejo region - with its rugged beaches and traditional villages - and the result is a unique mix of Portuguese authenticity with a contemporary and colourful design and modern comfort.
Monte Pardieiro do Meio can accommodate 6 adults and 4 children and has inviting indoor and outdoor spaces. The house has distinctive whitewashed walls and beautiful blue accents. The house is decorated with a good sense of design: artworks on the walls, the pastel-coloured kitchen and eye-catching design objects. In addition to the unique decor, you will enjoy luxury and comfort, such as: carefully selected bed linen, beautiful tableware, modern bathrooms and a lovely private swimming pool. Inside, you will find 3 spacious bedrooms and a children's bedroom with 2 bunk beds, providing enough space for the whole family or 2 different families.
Outside you will find a lush garden with olive trees and palms. After a dip in the pool, you can enjoy the sun on the bamboo lounge set. There are also nice shady spots and a lawn for the children to play on. In the evening, you can dine al-fresco on the covered terrace and admire the sunset. The peaceful and authentic setting invites you to relax and get to know the Portuguese culture. Monte Pardieiro do Meio is a beautiful hideaway, where you can completely relax and it is an ideal base to discover the surroundings. For example, within 30 minutes you can reach the hidden beaches behind the high rocky cliffs and there are several charming Portuguese villages and towns in the area.
All accommodations in our unique collection meet our high standards in quality, comfort, style and setting. We visit every place, meet the owners and explore the area, so we are sure that you will have a great holiday here!

Monte Pardieiro do Meio is very quietly situated in the Alentejo's countryside, 30 minutes from the coast. Here you will find rough sandy beaches with high, rocky cliffs. Drive, for example, to the beaches of Carvalhal (35 km), Alberta Nova (34 km) or Galé-Fontainhas (40 km). They are all part of the same beach that stretches over 50 km from Troia resort in the north to Sines in the south. Along the vast white and golden sand, there are guarded beaches with lifeguards during the summer, as well as beach restaurants serving locally caught fresh fish.
Grandola, the nearest larger town, is a few kilometres away and offers many restaurants and shops. There are some good traditional restaurants closer to the village of Comporta, such as Dona Bia or Museo do Arroz or Cavalariça. Another nice place to visit is Melides (30 km) a traditional Portuguese village on the Alentejo coast, which has become a popular destination for visitors seeking nature and authenticity. It has attracted many famous designers and artists for its culture and restaurants. Within 40 minutes, you can reach trendy Comporta, a relaxed place that is becoming increasingly popular among European holidaymakers. You will find beach bars and good seafood restaurants here. Comporta is surrounded by unspoilt nature, vast white sandy beaches and picturesque villages. You will also find beautiful rice fields here, which is reminiscent of Asia.
For a boat tour to see one of Europe's only dolphin communities in the Sado region, visit Vertigem Azul (70 minutes away). They organise several boat tours, but you can also go horseback riding through the Arrábida Natural Park. Sports enthusiasts can play golf in the area, or surf in Carvalhal (35 km) or Sines (41 km).
Lisbon, the old city known for its steep streets, fine restaurants and beautiful old buildings (and an international airport) is 1 hour and 30 minutes away. You can drive to this city to enjoy a pastel de nata and stroll through the beautiful city.
