Casa Azul and Quinta do Cedro offer space for 4 people each and are surrounded by the green landscape of rolling hills and vineyards and olive groves. Both houses are furnished with a very good eye for design: beautiful art pieces on the walls, brightly coloured kitchens and window frames and eye-catching design objects. In addition to the unique decor, you will enjoy all the luxuries and comforts that Pinta Houses has to offer, such as: carefully selected bed linen, beautiful tableware, a modern bathroom and a lovely private pool. Casa Azul is situated a little higher on the hill than Quinta do Cedro and is characterised by its beautiful blue doors and window frames. Enjoy the view and take in the beautiful landscape. Casa Azul features:

The house is in a quiet location, so a car will come in handy if you want to explore the area. Driving along the river, small villages will take you to the culture of the country. Stop in one of the charming villages for lunch or dinner. You can also drop by one of the idyllic wine estates for a tour and a wine or port tasting. Each wine estate makes very unique wines, so it is highly recommended to visit several wine estates in the area.
A nice place to visit in the neighbourhood is, for example, Lamego (18 km), a historical city with a cosy city centre with many terraces, medieval remains and small shops. In this city you will also find the Santuario Nossa Senhora dos Remedios, a church with a beautiful view that you reach via no fewer than 686 steps. Or visit Vila Real (42 km), a place with many stately mansions and go to the Palácio de Mateus or drive to Viseu (69 km), a lively city with a maze of old streets.
The Douro Valley is also an excellent place for walking and cycling. Because the area is quite hilly, you will find most flat routes along the banks of the river.
