Velpe55 is set in a rural location amid a landscape of gently rolling hills in the east of the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. Inspired by the typical Flemish barns from the region, the house is built in contemporary architecture with large windows overlooking the surrounding meadows. Velpe55 has been designed with all modern comforts allowing 6 people to fully enjoy a relaxing holiday. That starts with the grand view of the greenery and is extended to the serene, modern interior. From the moment you arrive, you will feel at home from home and unwind undoubtedly.
On the ground floor, you will find an open living while the two bedrooms and bathrooms are on the top floor. Outside two terraces invite you for a cup of coffee, a good book, or an al-fresco dinner and right in front of the door start various bike routes that lead you through the area. You can park your bike safely in the lockable bike box in the garden! Families with children can opt for adventurous forest walks in the surroundings. If you prefer the city; then this is also the perfect place to be. The bustling cities of Leuven, Brussels, and Mechelen are a short drive away and gourmands will enjoy the culinary offers in the restaurants and beer breweries a few kilometers away.
In short, thanks to its peaceful and central location, Velpe55 is the ideal base for relaxation, but also for active, cultural and family trips!

Reservations are considered valid after receipt of a down payment of 30% of the total rental costs. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before the day of arrival. If your booking is done within 6 weeks before arrival, you are required to pay the full amount immediately. In case of cancellation more than 6 weeks before arrival 50% of the received down payment will be refunded. No refund will take place in case of cancellation within 6 weeks before arrival. We therefore strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance.
The owners of Velpe55 request a security deposit of 300 euros, this must be paid in cash upon arrival. At check out the deposit will be returned if no damage is found.

Velpe55 is located on a dead-end road (where only local traffic passes) in the countryside near the village of Bierbeek in the province of Flemish Brabant.
The holiday home is located on the Hollewegen path, with access to kilometers of walking and cycling routes. Bierbeek is a 5-minute drive away. Here you will find a small supermarket (within a 15-minute drive you will also find larger supermarkets including a Carrefour), a gas station, and a number of good restaurants are also nearby.

Fine and comfortable house in a quiet and rural setting. Near very nice city of Leuven!
Velpe55 is an attractive holiday home with contemporary architecture and panoramic views of the countryside. It is set in a very quiet location and walking and cycling routes start directly in front of the house. Comfortably equipped for 6 people, this is an ideal place for a family or two couples who want to enjoy peace, love walking, cycling, or a city visit to one of the beautiful Belgian cities nearby.
The holiday home is energy efficient, optimally insulated and has underfloor heating in all areas. Wifi is available throughout the house. The owners live in the house next door, and are available during your stay but fully respect your privacy.
