Villa Covri is located in Croatia, near the old town of Novigrad. The villa takes its name from the Istrian village of Kovri where it is located, just 4 km from the nearest beach on the Adriatic Sea.
This 16th-century Istrian noble villa was built over 3 generations with stones from surrounding fields and has recently been successfully converted into a beautiful getaway that has already received several awards for its architecture and uniqueness!
The interior is a wonderful mix of old and new; old beams, window frames, and the stone floor have been carefully restored and are combined with a modern elegant style, making this place particularly inviting. The indoor spaces will impress you with their bright colors, luxurious marble, large paintings, and alluring accents.
Villa Covri has an open plan living with a kitchen downstairs and 5 spacious ensuite bedrooms on the two upper floors. It is surrounded by a well-maintained Mediterranean garden where a saltwater pool with a waterfall invites you to play or rest. For those who really want to relax, a yoga teacher or massage can be arranged in the villa.
The shady lounge area under the old mulberry tree is a special place with a beautiful story as well as some other objects that embody the special history of this villa.
The friendly owners can provide great tips for day trips in the area, including outings to the beach or the historic towns of Umag and Novigrad. In addition, they offer various (active) activities such as water sports, boat rental, as well as authentic experiences where you learn about traditions and locally produced products such as cheeses, wine, and olive oil.
All accommodations in our unique collection meet our high standards in quality, comfort, style and setting. We visit every place, meet the owners and explore the area, so we are sure that you will have a great holiday here!
