Just 2 km from the Umbrian village of Castel Rigone and 15 minutes from Lake Trasimeno, is nestled holiday home Villa Pignattari. A hidden gem, surrounded by a wooded area where you are guaranteed to find peace, sounds of nature and beautiful views over the valley.
In 2018, the Belgian owners have completely renovated this authentic holiday home for 14 people and transformed it into a residence with contemporary design while retaining traditional elements, such as the beautiful terracotta floors, vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, and the old fireplace. By carefully choosing and mixing materials, colors, and design, the décor inside is subdued but lively.
Villa Pignattari consists of two parts, the main house with four bedrooms and an annex with one bedroom. All areas inside are bright and equipped with furniture and lighting from brands such as Hay, Vitra, and Flos. There is lots of space to be together... to eat at the large dining table with colorful Vitra chairs, to lounge by the fireplace, to relax in the TV room or to challenge someone for a game of table football. The inviting kitchen is a great place for cooking enthusiasts, prepare for yourself a meal or be pampered by the cooking skills of the Italian 'mamma'.
The covered lounge terraces, the large 14-meters-long private pool with sun loungers and the shaded pergola terrace with dining table are ideal places to enjoy the sun, an aperitif, and idyllic sunsets.
All accommodations in our unique collection meet our high standards in quality, comfort, style and setting. We visit every place, meet the owners and explore the area, so we are sure that you will have a great holiday here!
