Villa Serendipity is located 7 km from the village of Saint-Raphaël and 19 km from Cannes.Villa Serendipity is located in a gated community on the hill making it a carefree and safe location for everyone.
In the area there are many wide sandy beaches where you can rent beach beds and umbrellas. In addition to these commercial beaches, public beaches can be found at Plage de Veillat, Beaurivage, Péguière, Le Dramont, Agay and Le Lido. The nearest beach is 2 km away from the house. The coastline of Saint-Raphaël is no less than 36 kilometers long and has more than 30 different beaches: sandy beaches, pebbles, creeks and coves. In Saint-Raphaël, diving is a popular sport: you can even go for wrecks at multiple locations. Other popular water sports are water skiing, wake boarding, sailing, sea kayaking and sport fishing.
There is much to discover in the narrow streets of the old center. A typical Provencal flower and vegetable market is held every day. Every season also has its own traditional festivals such as the Mimosa week and the Jazz festivals. The "Quartier de la Marine" was originally a fishing port. It became a popular holiday destination when a Casino and many beautiful holiday villas were built.
Nowadays the city center of Saint-Raphaël is where all activities take place and there are shops of all famous brands. Just a few hundred meters from the center and within easy walking distance you will find the port of Santa Lucia, the third largest marina on the Côte d’Azur. You can enjoy walking along the two-kilometer long quay with shops and restaurants with a view of the luxury boats. The sportier walker should definitely walk the beautiful walking path along the coast. This well-marked 8.5 kilometer walking route starts in the port of Santa Lucia. The trip ends at the Baumette lighthouse in approximately 2.5 hours. From here the return trip can be made by bus (number 8) or train.
