- Doderi: Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a living room. Doderi Alto and Doderi Ovest have a fireplace. The simple, minimalistic rooms have antique terracotta tiled floors, wooden beams and original furniture, designed and decorated for a heartwarming hospitable and unique stay. All apartments have a private terrace with beautiful views. Doderi Ovest and Est are located on the ground floor. Doderi Alto, on the 1st floor, has a covered terrace, ideal for enjoying your 'homemade' lunch or dinner of the products of the land. Guests share the pool (10 * 5 m), laundry facilities and BBQ.
- Brentina: The apartments all offer fantastic views and have a private or shared terrace where you can eat and relax. Brentina Est and Brentina Sud have a fireplace. All apartments in Brentina and Doderi have bedrooms with a private bathroom. Each apartment has its own shaded pergola where you may dine outside. At the entrance of the property is a welcoming reception with a little farm shop.
Guests make joint use of the swimming pool (5 x 10 m), the ping-pong table, the laundry facilities and BBQs. There is no TV or air-conditioning, but there is WiFi, music and books. Brentina Ovile (4p) is a hip and funky converted old barn, with 100 m2 of open living space (kitchen / living / lounge) and bedrooms / bathrooms divided over the ground floor and 1st floor where the original details such as ceiling beams have been beautifully preserved. - Le Trosce: the holiday home is completely private on the estate and is surrounded by a green garden. It is a perfect place for a family, two families or a group of friends, for example. The house has a cozy living room with fireplace and piano, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, four double bedrooms, two of which can be set up with two single beds, two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower and of course with a sink and toilet, laundry room with washing machine, Netflix, wifi internet. All rooms are on the ground floor and the layout makes it very suitable for a group of people. For small children there is a cot and chair on request. Outside there is a spacious garden, a loggia terrace with outside furniture for 8 people, a BBQ and a plunge pool of 2 by 3 m.
Fattoria Barbialla Nuova is a real organic working farm, dirt roads connecting the houses to the reception, living nature and a eco-friendly place where to disconnect form a busy life.
Not present: telephone, TV and air conditioning, back to nature! Therefore less suitable for people who during their vacation are looking for modern luxury.
The people at Nuova Fattoria Barbialla are very welcoming and can provide guidance: a bread baking workshop, private cook, guided hike on the property, feeding the animals, a stocked fridge on arrival. Barbialla Nuova Fattoria is a rugged and incredibly beautiful place to celebrate a creative, relaxed, and gastronomic holiday.
Guests are invited to walk the property and taste all the goodies that are grown here, it would take you days to explore. This also counts for walks and quests for different wildlife, you can find truffles in autumn, picking wild herbs in spring and eat the figs and cherries in summer - naturally all organically grown. With the towers of San Gimignano on just a half hour drive and the city of Volterra on a 40 min hour drive, Siena and Florence are not much further. But it is the feeling of tranquility, nature and space that makes this place so special, and perhaps after your stay you are very sure and will move to the country for good!
